what's in a name?
A journey... let me take you on it...
Growing up in Tasmania, Melissa Hoedel the creative and the brains behind Taybian Marketing & Design, had never liked her name (she has since learned to love it), so when enrolling in College (years 11-12), she decided to enroll under a different name... what though? Always liking the male name Fabian, she one day opened a Stephen King novel and it was dedicated to Tabitha King. Fabian + Tabitha = Taybian. So during her years at college, the people she met during these years still to this day know her as Taybian.
Upon enrolling in University to study a double major of Photography and Painting, at the University of Tasmania, Melissa enrolled under her own name and Taybian became her artist name, under which she had many photographic, painting and fashion exhibitions under.
After working in a diverse array of industries and completing further study including a Diploma of Buisness & Marketing through Southbank Institute of TAFE (QLD) and a Certificate IV in Graphic Design with the prestegious Shilington College, Melissa has a skill set as diverse as the counteries she has travelled and industries she has worked in. She has now built a strong network of talented individuals that she works with to provide you with the best possible outcome to meet your businesses objectives!
The ever evolving Taybian brand is essentially the culmination of all of Melissa's experiences, and passion for all things design!
